Children's Learning Community
Sundays 9:30-10:15 am - Children's Classroom 2
Children may attend the class following the One Room Sunday School cirriculum that is multi-graded and -aged. Children Kindergarten through Middle School are welcome in this class.
There is also a wonderful nursery staffed by a trained adult for preschool
children and babies.

Children's Worship Center in Room 3
This is an exciting way of approaching faith formation with children. It recognizes children as spiritual beings, who already have a relationship with God, and the children learn about God as they experience God.
At Community children as young as three years old hear and see Bible stories using visual objects in a way that allows them to enter into the stories and form responses out of their own life experiences. They also learn the meaning of church traditions and participate in worship practices. It is a Montessori influenced program that is effective with all types of children.
Currently the Children Worship and Wonder program is expanding and offering training for people who wish to become Greeters. If you are interested in becoming a Greeter, please contact the Church Office.
Youth Groups
Regular Meetings-Sundays 5:00-7:00 pm at East Valley Disciples of Christ churches. The next meeting is a special outreach opportunity on Friday, February 10th here at Community Christian Church helping with I-HELP from 3:30-6:30pm. Come when you can to help.
Chi Rho (6-8 graders) meets twice a month on the first and third Sundays with other youth from First Christian Church and Desert Heritage Church in Mesa and Chalice Christian Church in Gilbert. They also meet for Retreats twice a year, one in Phoenix and one in Tucson, and for Summer Camp once a year.
CYF (9-12 graders) meets twice a month on the first and third Sundays with other youth from First Christian Church and Desert Heritage Church in Mesa and Chalice Christian Church in Gilbert.They also meet for Retreats twice a year, one in Phoenix and one in Tucson, and for Summer Camp once a year.
CCF (3-5 graders) meets once a month First Christian Church, 805 N Country Club in Mesa. They also meet for Retreat in the Spring and for Summer Camp.
