Agape Feasts - happen after the worship service, when we share a meal as Church Family, usually on 1st Sundays. See the calendar above for this month's feast day.
Green Team - This new ministry team formed last year to care about God’s good earth and respond to the threat of climate change. This team is focused on our church's use of resources and examining ways we can reduce our carbon footprint. We began last summer conducting an energy audit with a LEED certified professional from the Disciples General Church staff. This has led us to improving the energy efficiency of our building which we focus on monthly during our Property Team sponsored Work Days. It is our hope to discover ways to conserve our energy resources so that we can redirect our financial resources for our mission and ministries. This team also led an Agape Feast, when we share a meal as church family, to educate the congregation on ways we can reduce our carbon footprint in our every day lives.
